Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Key Helper is a Chrome extension made by Omry Hoomash, Israel ("we"). This policy explains what we collect and why. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Your name and email, when you enter them in the extension, so we can connect your subscription to you and help you unlock it on a new computer.
- A random install ID created by the extension, so we know which browser has been unlocked.
- Subscription and payment records from our payment provider: subscription status, renewal and end dates, order number, amount, currency, discount used and date, and the link to manage your subscription.
- A one-time unlock code, only when you ask to unlock a new browser. We store it scrambled (hashed), it expires after 10 minutes and is deleted once used.
What we never collect
- The songs or pages you open. Chord analysis runs entirely inside your browser.
- Your browsing history.
- Payment card details. Lemon Squeezy handles payments and never shares card details with us.
Who processes your data
- Lemon Squeezy — our merchant of record. It processes payments, subscriptions, taxes and receipts.
- Supabase — stores our small database, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Resend — sends our emails, such as the unlock code. It receives your email address and the message content only.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your record while you use Key Helper, and payment records as long as the law requires for accounting. Unlock codes are deleted within 10 minutes.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing vinylab27@gmail.com. Deleting your data removes the link to your subscription, so you would need to contact us to restore access. Deleting your data does not cancel your subscription; cancel it from your receipt email first.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
